Sophie will live in the shelter of the Most High, and abide in the shadow of the Almighty, She will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." For He will deliver her from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence He will cover her with his pinions, and under his wings Sophie will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. She will not fear the terror of the night, or the arrow that flies by day, or the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or the destruction that wastes at noonday.

A thousand may fall at her side, ten thousand at her right hand, but it will not come near Sophie. Sophie will only look with her eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. Because she has made the Lord her refuge, the Most High her dwelling place, no evil shall befall her, no scourge come near her room. For He will command his angels concerning Sophie to guard her in all her ways. On their hands they will bear her up, so that she will not dash her foot against a stone.

Sophie will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent she will trample under foot. Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect Sophie, who knows my name. When Sophie calls to me, I will answer her; I will be with her in trouble, I will rescue her and honor her. With long life I will satisfy her, and show her my salvation.
